What is it?

It consists of a non-invasive study that is performed with a transthoracic ultrasound to evaluate the structures of the heart. It is very useful to identify structural heart diseases, valvular diseases, congenital defects, cardiomyopathy, heart failure and ischemic heart disease, for a correct treatment of the underlying disease.
